Madame Tussauds Blackpool has launched two versions of Professor Cox, with an extraordinary 3D hologram of the physicist, along with his very own wax figure.

The museum has welcomed a brand new interactive experience along with the new additions, in which Brian Cox educates on the wonders of the universe. 

Interactive Science lessons

During the interactive experience, school groups will receive an immersive lesson from the hologram of Professor Brian Cox, one of the UK’s leading professors of particle physics and a notable face within this field.

From orbiting planets and moons, black holes to multiverses, the secrets of the solar system will be revealed for visiting students. 

The 3D hologram of Cox will be the version which teaches pupils about Physics, while the wax work will be seen in the rest of the museum for pupils to get up close to and take photos.

About Professor Brian Cox

Brian Cox is a physicist who is known for his television shows on the BBC such as the Wonders of… series.

He has also co-authored more than 950 scientific publications and a string of best-selling books, including Human Universe and Universal, A Guide to the Cosmos, which thrust him into the limelight for making Physics ‘accessible to all’.

Madame Tussauds for schools

School rates are available and combined tickets can also be arranged with other Merlin attractions.

The wax work figures at Madame Tussauds offer school pupils the opportunity to approach Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum subjects from different perspectives and disciplines, allowing groups to get up close to their favourite stars.
